We love Jesus, our little farm, sourdough, and the beautiful community of people around us. Travis is a beef farmer at heart, though you’ll often find him knee-deep in data or joyfully serving the Church. Julia is a dreamer who turns stories into visuals through photography and design. She also has a knack for making music, earrings, and (occasionally) messes. Our son loves to tinker with 3D printing and code, while our daughter brings joy and sparkle wherever she goes.

We’re a farmer and an artist, building a life in the middle of fields, family, faith, and a whole lot of ordinary days.
The Farmer works the land—raising cattle, growing crops, fixing what breaks, and paying attention to the rhythms of soil, weather, seasons, and hard work. He knows that some things can’t be rushed, that good things take time, and that you sometimes have to plant before you know exactly how the harvest will come.
The Artist makes things—designing, creating, telling stories, gathering people, and finding beauty in the ordinary. She sees possibilities in old barns, handmade things, empty spaces, good words, and people sitting around a table together.
Somewhere along the way, we discovered that farming and creating have more in common than you might think. Both require imagination. Both require patience. Both involve a willingness to begin with what you have and trust that something good might grow. This is a place for the stories in between—the work and the wonder, the mud and the beauty, the things we're building and the things we're still figuring out.
